New Scheduling and Payment System Through Wellness Living:
Scheduling will now be done through a service called Wellness Living. This will allow parents to schedule most sessions online without having to request a time and place from me personally and wait for me to check, respond and reply. The new system will also allow you to have a credit card on file in order to quickly pay for sessions as well as keep track of your tutoring activity. You will have the ability to read and receive notes and feedback on sessions, and you will also receive alerts that remind you about an upcoming session and confirm sessions after you book. Scheduling Policy Changes:
In order to make things easier and more streamlined for everyone involved, there will be several official changes to the TTC scheduling policy.

Parents will be able to schedule sessions up to one week in advance through the new appointment booking features on Wellness Living.

TTC is officially offering in-home tutoring to families that live close enough to a tutor to reasonably facilitate requests. In-home tutoring will only be offered for sessions 1.5 hours or longer. This can work well for families with multiple kids that need tutoring or at a home where multiple friends can work in succession.

Sessions booked with less than 20 hours of advance notice will now include a $5 late signup charge.

Sessions cancelled with less than 20 hours of advance notice will be billed at 50% of the session’s cost.

Sessions cancelled with less than 10 hours of notice will be billed at full price. Each client will receive one free pass for a cancelled session before being charged for subsequent missed or cancelled sessions.

‘Special Sessions’ will need to be booked manually through me, similarly to how we’ve handled scheduling requests in the past. I encourage anyone with in-home tutoring or alternate location tutoring to book as early as possible because special considerations need to be made for the more complex scheduling. Sessions with under 24 hours of notice will also need to be requested and manually booked by me.
